Hriday, an undergraduate student at Princeton University, has embodied the entrepreneurial spirit by creating a service specifically designed to assist law firms.
Hriday can use the $2,500 scholarship to continue his studies while pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams. Hriday has thus far pursued his work and studies with diligence and determination, along with a willingness to adjust to changing circumstances and unforeseen hurdles.
What Put Hriday on the Path to Entrepreneurship
Hriday is majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. His interest in robotics drew him into leading the Princeton SpaceShot initiative from 2022 to 2025. During this time, he worked on the school’s program to develop a rocket that they planned to launch.
However, a recently changed law reclassified the engines used in the school’s program. The program shut down due to this changed law, and despite Hriday’s efforts, they could not get it running again.
Hriday’s experiences trying to navigate the changing law put him on the path to entrepreneurship because it allowed him to learn more about the legal process and the challenges law firms face when trying to connect with new clients while handling the rest of their work.
The Path to Entrepreneurship Begins at Home
Hriday credits his parents as his biggest inspiration, stating that they gave him the motivation to stay resilient, explore the world with curiosity, and embrace joy every day. Their love and sacrifices have allowed him to pursue his education and explore entrepreneurship.
Developing Tools for Law Firms
Hriday’s experience with the legal system allowed him to identify an issue faced by many law firms. Lawyers often have to juggle their work with current clients as well as trying to field calls from individuals who need their help, all while adjusting to changing l
Hriday’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to look for a solution to this issue. He co-founded Briefly, an AI receptionist for law firms. Briefly is an AI voice receptionist that can log calls for law firms and even follow up automatically with prospective clients.
Briefly has significant promise for the legal system. Hriday is working with firms that could utilize Briefly for after-hours work as a test to measure the program’s effectiveness and ability to help clients get the legal assistance they need.
How the Providing Support to Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship Can Help Hriday Unadkat
The Providing Support to Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship will help Hriday with his last semester at Princeton, while allowing him to save for law school and continue pursuing his entrepreneurial ambitions. The $2,500 scholarship provides financial assistance and supports Hriday’s goals as a creator.
Winning the scholarship has made Hriday feel more confident about approaching his work with a fresh mindset, so he can embrace ambitious ideas that could result in the revolutionization of different aspects of the legal field.
Hriday’s Plans After Graduation
After his graduation, Hriday plans to work as a patent agent and attend law school. He’s interested in studying the intersection of age–old jurisprudence and burgeoning technology, and wants to focus on export control law, patent law, and startup law.
Hriday plans to focus on working with law firms and exploring other entrepreneurial ventures along with Briefly.
